Chiming in to second the rec for The Bright Sessions (the characters are so great you guys and i love everyone's voices) and also to rec D&D is for nerds (group of friends play D&D, I think the DM is the only one who's played before), bc I find that ridiculously entertaining.
for the record, i have two lists of podcasts. one of podcasts i have downloaded and have either listened to, am listening to, or am about to listen to within a few days. the second list is podcasts to start downloading once i catch up with some on the first list. the first list is 27 podcasts long, and the second is 39 i may have a problem
hello i cannot stop listening to podcasts EOS 10 (sci fi. i love the characters so much. and it has the line "Ryan, your terrorist is here!" and you should listen just to find out the context for that) Jim Robbie and the Wanderers (very very cute. the characters are just so adorable and I love them a lot. it also has a really great plot but that's just bonus at this point. post apocalyptic but there hasn't been any mention of what kind, at least not as far as I've gotten)
Oh hey @Bel Capricorn I meant to say thanks for the recs! I'm now listening to the bright sessions, archive 81, small town horror, and ars paradoxica. Definitely gonna check out eos 10.
Okay so now i am subscribed to over 100 podcasts. One of my friends threatened to stage an intervention.....forty podcasts ago. Recommendations: Spirits: a drunken dive into myths and legends The hidden almanac Hello from the magic tavern The Elysium project The message (this one is completed and only eight episodes but goddamn is it good) The behemoth (also completed) A new winter (I.....don't know. It's messed up.) Tales of THATTOWN
Kevin and Ursula Eat Cheap is good for non-fiction background listening Ursula Vernon and her husband eat weird food and comment on it while also rambling about other things as they enter their heads
Seconding the rec for The Message - great little story. As always Imma check out whatever Bel recs, it's always good :D I subbed to a bunch of true crime/mystery podcasts a bit ago, will link when not on mobile...
i am so entirely intimidated by edict zero that i can't seem to listen to it i just. it just seems so cool. i don't understand
Do not be intimidated, it is not cool. It is hugely dorky. The map of a video game world is a major plot point.
EDICT ZERO IS SO GOOD. I thought I was like the only person in the world who listened to it T_T nobody posted in the fan town thread I made... BUT ANYWAY AUGH IT IS SO GOOD I LOVE IT
The F Plus and IDEOTV are my favourites but they've already been recommended here, so :P The other one I'm getting into at the moment is My Favourite Murder. It's ... well, it's two ladies talking 'bout true crime. They're pretty hilarious. Oh, and Stuff You Should Know! Two guys explain things and make jokes. Good stuff.
