Anyway my concern was that you couldn't use coral slabs from Oceandome since it's not the same kind of wood but it looks like you can use any wood from any region and mix/match in one build too. So that's cool.

Ok wait, what beats what in the elements? My current working theory is Balance>Light>Dark>Balance, but does this hold out to the rest? I only get Dark monsters so far too, so if this is true I will have to buy Light weapons and shields, since Oceandome stuff is all Balance.
I've gotten light and dark monsters, but I made a light weapon on the idea that light trumps dark. I have no idea if it's true,
WRT repairing things: You can have your construction worker repair structures from their profession menu, or pay for someone else's to do it via the maintenance market (The wrench in the town hall icons)
What kind of dark weapons are there, so that I might see if any are to be had for less money than "a crapton"?
@Ryncoon I can't seem to repair occupied houses, though. @OnnaStik Spider Shield, Black Slime Helmet, and Monster Claw Axe are the top tier items Spider shield is easiest to make, only costs 10 spiders and 2 webs (spiders are gathering items, webs are store bought) Let me see the other items, I didnt buy them 'cuz I didn't want GARBAGE low-tier stuff I'll also look up slime helmet recipe and axe recipe.
Monster Claw axe needs 2 monster claws (loot) and 100 animal fangs (gather item) Black Slime Helmet needs 10 Slime helmet bases (store....also why, my villager doesnt have ten fucking heads??? what), Five poison skulls (loot) and 500 Toothy Tokens (end me; loot) Other weapons/armor are slime shield and monster tooth knife.
