I spent like way too much time today thinking about what type of character Lemi would play in DnD

Spoiler: totally not a self insert

She would play a half-drow ranger named Nayalin Starseer, whose older sister brother sacrificed himself to save her from the underdark. She found herself in a forest and met a grumpy old elf ranger who taught her the ways of rangering via being gruff and kinda shitty before they disappeared, and she's been alone ever since. Lemi was probably interested in magic but she was confused/intimidated by the rules and just went with ranger. She is one part ridiculous elf ingenue and one part Lemi Malloy. It's very, very 15 year old's first dnd character

Sorry for zonking out on y'all without warning yesterday (technically day before, now).

I'm also visiting grandparents next week, so I dunno if I'll be able to run. I feel bad about missing two weeks in a row, so I'll see if I can grab some time friday evening to run, but no promises. :/

 

I'll probably be missing next week too- friends and I are taking a vacation to Monteray. If I am there it'll be on my phone and sporatic.

well that's an interesting question! Let me answer with a fortunately-unfortunately story:

fortunately, I have this evening pretty much free
unfortunately, my computer won't acknowledge that my grandparents' house has wifi
fortunately, there's a coffee place down the street with wifi I can use
unfortunately, I'm on battery power
fortunately, I have like four hours of that
unfortunately, i haven't had a chance to prep shit at all

So I guess the upshot is I can run a shortish 'sploring session.

 

Well I can hop on my laptop I think! Gimme a few minutes.

The coffee shop has no outlets? That sucks.
