yeah for some reason it's so much easier to make top level weapons? like I could make a dozen top spears, but not even one midlevel.

Does anyone know where we go to see random orphan villagers? I'm out of obvious ideas for new ones, but I just finished up a house, and I figured I'd refresh until I see one I'd like to invite home.
That's what I thought! But now I just see a list of all the jobs and how many villagers have them, and a sampling of random painties.
there sometimes are dry periods when people go a while without abandoning any of their furries and all the abandoned ones have been adopted, i think.

So, the remaining villagers I want to make are a fossa, a yak, and a hyena. Obviously I'll need to do painties to get the first two since they don't have species (I'm thinking a cougar for the fossa and a fawn deer for the yak), and since I hate the expression on the hyena in this game (sorry orz) thatll need it too. But the character I'm thinking of is a cheetah/hyena cross, so maybe I'll go with the cheetah base? I don't know.

Hold on a sec, costumes buff occupations? Well that makes it even more annoying you can't use them on most animals!
Oh hey the warrior costume buffs warriors, makes sense, I wonder what the armored and armed seraph costume buffs? Doctors. Because angels. Of course. I guess that sword is used for cuttin all them plants, huh? edit: Are there actual balance reasons why some of them only buff one profession, or is it just because the professions were pulled out of a hat?
