We are in a dreamscape. All you have to do is open your mind and want the transmission badly enough to quiet your own thoughts and receive the information at whatever speed and in whatever format suits you best. Why are you afraid to be free?

It may not actually be a problem with the speed of the transmission, even if Cronus would like to say so. (His reaction sounds... very much like a front to me, though I admit I may be jumping to conclusions.) Language processing issues exist, and while I'm sure there's some workaround somewhere it would likely also involve a lengthy explanation if one wishes to gain consent before beginning treatment.

Telling him how awful Bill is-- while enlightening for the rest of us-- might only be adding more information to an already-overwhelming stream.

Given that, and assuming those forces are equal-- even if Cronus is willing to accept help right now, if he believes that his situation is hopeless and nothing will help, attempts may, in fact, prove as useless to him as he believes they will turn out. Even if those attempts might work perfectly well for a different patient.
