I was just looking at my grades and stuff because senior year of college is looming and just realized that my gpa is now officially at a level where I could get a D on every single major curriculum class I have to take this year and still have a good enough GPA to graduate. I'm not gonna do that, but knowing the grade pressure isn't on is really, really nice

 

I just realised why my friend has seemingly fallen of the face of the earth. He's dating his ex-girlfriend again, the idiot.

i’ve been thinking a lot about Dragon Age Dalish elf culture for this fic that i keep meaning to write and i’m sort of fascinated how completely out of canon i keep going and i wonder if it’s my cultural background being too out there. Cause like... I know the Dalish elves are supposedly inspired by the Jewish and Rroma diaspora and things like that, but I’m always drawn towards... not that? Like I was thinking about Dalish music and realized I was thinking about things pretty close to the various musical styles developed during brazilian colonization and the aftermath of the abolition of slavery and it's. like. possibly because as a brazilian i don't have background cultural chatter of diaspora as much as slavery, which is also a big part of the Dalish elf story in the world. i mean obviously i'm not culturelifting - as in, their music is exactly like samba - but it's the kind of sound my mind went to. anyway i now wanna see a Dalish clan with a roda de samba and maybe Alienages with things like samba de raíz or other music like forró, the music more common on the northeast cause they'd have more access to instruments and maybe i can make my oc know how to play the accordion
