Spoiler also did it feel a bit hypocitical to anyone else that Amethyst said Peridot was focusing on what she couldn't do, when she only brought up shapeshifting because Steven and Amethyst kept shapeshifting and pushing it as an issue? Yeah, if you keep saying YOU DO THE THING they're going to be annoyed that they can't do the thing, and saying that they're just being a downer because they can't do a thing, then that's a dick move.

Spoiler anyone else get super suuuuuper stressed when amethyst grabbed the tablet? especially combined with the 'you don't need this' dialogue. it was just.......so . especially when it was just kind of handwaved away when peridot discovered her telekinesis. i dunno. it was just very obvious that that was a comfort object for peridot and she was absolutely terrified that amethyst was going to destroy it.
Spoiler: YEP YEP i sure did get unhappy and stressed and FUCK YOU FUCK YOU at amethyst there it would have hurt worse from anyone but "lol just break it just lay around in trash who cares you don't need to feel secure in things outside yourself" amethyst but still. very sharp sudden pain and differences of needs and that was not communication at all, that was amethyst trying to break peridot's coping methods again because she feels sure that peridot's old methods are wrong and the best way to Make Her Better, Make Her Happier, is to take away all the homeworld-esque methods and teach her earth methods still wish we knew where those limb enhancers were i'm still not happy about the way the gems have treated her in a fair number of ways, and this is one of them
Yeah, definitely Spoiler especially when it would be the second time Amethyst threw Peridot's things into the ocean. And even without the ableist business, taking someone's personal belonging and trying to break it because you don't like their behavior is unacceptable.
Thirding. Spoiler: holy overreaction, batman Also, I know it's stupid because it's just a cartoon, but I absolutely hate it when people throw away perfectly good things. There's some poor person who could use a tablet or someone who could use it as a way to find work or friends or something. JUST GIVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE, DON'T THROW IT AWAY!!! It was really distressing and I was super relieved when Peridot managed to save it ;-;
Spoiler: Going back to Mr greg i think pearl still has some fleas (is that the right usage) from before the rebellion and seeing rose as above her - "petty and dull with the nerve to doubt her" strikes me as interesting.
unrelated but i read that as 'going back to mgreg' and i had to consider how greg universe could possibly get mpreg for a good two seconds
