Ryuuga Wagatekiwo Kurau - The Overwatch Thread

I've had a few 76's and Reapers (why is it always them?) do the UGH MY BACK HURTS FROM CARRYING THIS TEAM in general chat... right before my POTG. And entire group of my friends ends up on the scorecards.

Carry-assholes are almost never up there, magically.

 

I just leave voice chat off because I'm not here to be serious and I don't feel like listening to people bitch and moan.

 

76 and Reaper are both easy options if you don't want to rely on anyone. Both do decent damage, have abilities to help them escape jams, and can heal themselves. So solo carry jackasses are more like to play them than a tank or healer or whatever else.

 

Voice chat was the first thing I turned off. Unfortunately, the text chat is still there and visible on PC, and there's no good way to leave it. The mute button is the best button.

 

I have deemed Widowmakers and Hanzos the WoW rogues of Overwatch.

 

I leave it on cause most people on PS4 don't have a mike, so you'll catch a lotta people just sorta talking to themselves, and that's pretty fucking cute.

I kinda wish I had a mic, just so the random bullshit I say as Mercy gets recorded. "Satan'll have to drag you from my cold dead hands, chum." "Hanzo, Hanzo, I can't, move back, please. Just let me goop you, please." "Kill."

 

Fucking Hanzos tho. Those bastards never let me get close enough to heal. STOP RUNNING FROM ME HANZO, I JUST WANT TO HELP.

 

I leave them for dead.

I've actually never heard anyone use the voice chat! (Or wait. Once. In Russian.)
Is that a European server thing or an I have been lucky thing? Do people on the Americas server use voice chat a lot?

well that's it if I find time tomorrow I'm gonna explore the American servers and hope for the best
it is so lonely being the only one who uses the chat for other things than insults

Or when they decide being healed means they're invulnerable and keeps standing where the entire enemy team can shoot them rather than just taking a couple of steps to the side so I've a chance to get their health up before they charge off again. Fucking tanks keep thinking they're immortal.
