Did so much stuff. Saw new psychiatrist, who is not nearly as annoying as the other one. Actually got meds changed. Yay! Picked up scripts. Did groceries. Very tired, out of spoons, but got stuff done.

This is not a thing that I did, per se, but I got a job! Or rather, my dad got me a job at his company. The way he's said it, I'll be cleaning up job sites and doing some deliveries maybe?? I'm not sure. It's weird, I've been looking for a job for about a year now, and now that I've given up looking, my dad just drops one right on my lap. My first day is tomorrow. God, I really hope I don't fuck this up.

Update on the new job: it went well! Spent the first half being driven around by some guy who talks a lot, and the second half cleaning a house! Didn't have to talk to anyone or anything. Wasn't sure what a lunch hour was exactly, so I didn't eat anything all day and ended up with a wicked headache. Still not sure how lunch hours work. Will figure it out.

I just ate a big salad that I grew all the veggies! :)

    Spinach, radish, and radish greens.

I am both smug and healthy.

    Congrats!

Imma count yesterday as well because I can. SO:

    Yesterday:
    Went to class
    Charged my bus pass
    Paid 4 bills
Went to 2 museums (freaked out in front of some artwork, it was great)
    Took a nap
    Caught up on Homestuck
    Did my dishes
    Played around on the PC

    Today:
Filled the first 2 pages of my glorious new sketchbook with sketches for a thing I wanna do someday
    Bought allergy medicine
Bought new clothes! The best skinny jeans I've ever owned, 2 button-down shirts and 2 sweaters <3

Okay, so this has been haunting my mind for a while now, and I've finally gotten over my anxiety to do it.

So the apartment I used to live with my ex is still under my lease. I have paid the rent, but some of our stuff is still inside. And needs to be taken out. I have not looked forward to that at ALL, but it really needed to happen. But anxiety got worse, and while I secretly went to the apartment and picked up a mug as well as some very stern papers notifying me of paying late rent, I couldn't organise something to get it cleaned out.

But now I did. On Sunday a moving company will come and pick up Ex's stuff and send it to his mother's house. I owe it to his mother, because she gave us a nice cabinet I want to give back to her, as well as some jewelry. On Monday, early in the morning, a junk removal company will come and get rid of the bed, some furniture, and random junk. That will be the end of the apartment, and the closing of that chapter.

Thanks a lot people. It's been really helpful for me to read all your encouragements and it's given me strength to get over some rather nasty bugs. I wish my issues had resolved earlier, from a practical standpoint it would have been much easier for me and less last-minute, but it's all falling together and I feel more whole every day.

the dishwasher broke and we had the kids over and the dishes have been piling up for like 3 or 4 days

I worked in the kitchen and got about half of them done. It's a big task so I'll tackle it again later.

I finished proofreading a colleague's friend's dissertation. 54 pages on international transactions in Ghana. My degree in English Lit obviously qualifies me to pass judgement on things such as these.

I buzzed my head! It was scary and the vibration made my hands numb, but I did it and my hair feels much better.

Also, I picked up the mail, but I haven't opened it. It's bills :/

    Bills are the worst.

I am currently working on a presentation for my talk on Tuesday, and I am not enjoying it at all. I keep second guessing myself as to what I should put in it, and as to whether it is enough or if I should put in more.

I scheduled an appointment with the eye doctor. It's been several years since I last had an eye exam so my eyes have probably changed a bit.
