I read the above comic and it set me on a train of thought that culminated in me hugging myself and crying because I'm so fucking lonely and I want a cat so badly to maybe help with that but i can't have one in this flat and even if I did get one I'd probably pick the wrong sort of one and it'd fucking hate me because that's how it always goes

My little sister is a Special Olympian, does track and shotput. She's one of those ridiculous people that doesn't run fast, but can keep up the same easy, ground-eating lope for days. If my mother would let her I bet she'd love to do a marathon type thing.

Saw a picture of a tiny puppy next to a soda can. Started thinking about how good dogs are, how much they love us and believe in us...

 

I too am occasionally overwhelmed by the goodness of dogs.

 

I realized this is the longest I've gone without visiting home/parents and also that I miss Orcas in the summer. And I won't see them until winter or maybe even longer because money. We can drive to my partner's family's place in about 10 hours, so that's doable, but Illinois is very far from Washington State and I just want to visit. :(
