I feel the need to share more of the Black Cat because he was so shy when I first moved to my partner's place, but then he slowly became friendly with me and now he loves me and will sit on my lap <3

He rolls over for me and loves to have his belly rubbed

 

Do you see how he had his paws daintily crossed over, his big eyes staring up from under his cozy sheet cave?

 

Not my dog, but I went into a store yesterday and met a dog named Tyson, and he started methodically licking my entire leg and then climbed into my lap upside down:



he had one eye and made snorfly noises and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. I WANTED TO STEAL HIM.

 

I LOVE THESE DOGS!!!! i love that cat!!!!!! i love them!!! handsome dog and beauteous cat and wise shaman dog and upside-down fatty dumpling!!!!!

 

WHAT A GOOD. (I hope his foot is okay, it looks like he's got a recent-ish cut in the first pic.)

 

it did look like that! I mentioned it out loud, but I was really talking to the dog and not his owner who was behind the counter, so she didn't answer. she seemed nice, though, I can't imagine she hadn't noticed.

 

My boyfriend and I have the pleasure of hosting these two precious beans at our flat for the next few days whilst their owners are on holiday:



The long-haired tortoiseshell one is called Smudge. She is very smart and quite aloof. She's the older of the two and is very particular about where you're allowed to pet her.

The short-haired black one is called Magrat. She is very vocal, very sweet, and dumb as a box of rocks.

They've spent the past hour going over every inch of the flat. Smudge seems to have settled on the top landing of the stairs as Her Spot. Magrat is varying between under my desk chair and on my bf's desk chair.

LOOK at these BEAUTIFUL CATTERS....... is that calico a munchkin? either way i love her

god all of these cats look so soft and i deeply want to gently put my face in their bellies.... i will accept any resulting scratches. it will be Worth It

(i wish that a still photo could properly capture his fluttery hair.... steve has these weird, incredibly long guard hairs that stick out from the rest of his fur.... they were softly fluttering in the breeze from the air conditioner. it was magical)

edit: WAIT WAIT 2 more steves because now u can see his weird hair. also he's cute and i love him so much

I have no idea why those are sideways and no idea how to fix it, so.

the sideways view makes it even better, like he's grimly managing to prop himself up like that bc he's too proud to be horizontal

 

Calico! That's the word I was looking for. She's not a Munchkin, I think she's just a Floof.
