it varies a lot, though. some lusii are as smart as trolls and can talk. i've heard the great blueblooded centaurs are one example, and of course, in my own caste, there are the mother grubs! many of us jades are taken in by other jade lusii that are part of the cave systems, but some are chosen by the mother grubs, and take care of her throughout her long life. it's a very honored role!
