I am just going to say into the ether that I have actual real-life experience with removing remote-detonated bombs from people. Not that that would necessarily translate back out of this space, depending on how anyone's canon interacts with liminal dreamscapes like this one, but I'm not the dimensional expert.

...at the very least, I can say it has been safely done, and definitely in less than ideal conditions.
