@Lissa Lysik'an - wow, that's some fantastic art! I love her eyes and her wings especially. also look it is a cute @IvyLB 8D
@Snitchanon I tried drawing Snitch, but the paper caught fire and now the pen only produces densely-curling eldritch sigils. Is this a normal side-effect? @IvyLB Sure, feel free to use it as an avatar!
Click here to download a WIP of Kintsugi game! I am le sleepy and anything unclickable and unable to be walked to yet means it is unfinished. this is just a few days worth of work so please be gentle and if you spot a bug or spelling error please inform me. All flavor text is subject to change, right now it is just "what I could throw together while working". I have no custom sprites, so everything is default to RPG maker right now. This will be fixed soon sorry. Player character is a wolf cuz I am a dork and needed a stand in.
@Void if you need/want someone outsource some rpgmaker legwork to, drop me a note, i got it last year on humble bundle and havent had time to put it to use yet.
@whimsicalobservant i will consider this offer! i currently don't have much to do during the day though, and it's nice to have a project i enjoy working on! If i start getting burnt out on this I might pass the baton though for a bit. Or if there is a part you think would be fun and you'd like to try doing
@Void I am bad at computers, do I need any additional software to run the game or will it do it on its own?
thanks! I'll do that tomorrow probably then because right now I'm too frazzled to do much but lay around!
@littlemissCodeless Heyyy guess who got a new grey marker finally! Hint it is me. Spoiler: I forgot you wanted it sketched in green and only brought my blue pencil with me I'm sorry Fun fact my brother watched me drawing this because creeping at people is his hobby, and he went WOW a lot. So there you go, your Kintsugisona was WOW'd at by an eleven-year-old. Hey @a tiny mushroom I noticed you asked me to draw you at some point, what was your Kintsugisona again? My brain's telling me it was a very large mushroom but I'm not convinced by the things my brain tells me. ALL HAIL THE GLOW SHROOM.
Wow I have not been keeping up with this thread at all, whoops >.>; Whoo! A game! @sicknastyspades I am indeed a giant mushroom! That wears a plum coloured net skirt. Yes.
Does this mean I get to become an actual liminal being? With my love of Serial Experiments Lain and .hack// I vote something akin to 1/2 person 1/2 digital entity/AI
(Hi, guys, can I play? :D) I'm thinking that space!Scheherazade is the colony's doctor. She has ridiculously powerful healing magic, can get someone back to perfect physical health in under half a minute. Her power also works on the landscape, doing things like purifying tainted water or clearing up pollution. It works, if anything, even better on herself than it does on others, so she can tank just about anything by virtue of healing it instantaneously. Acts as a combat medic during incursions. She lives in Kintsugi's church, a good-sized Gothic cathedral with... interesting architecture. For one thing, it's bigger on the inside, and the outside wasn't that small to begin with. The main room appears to be some sort of chapel, vaguely Catholic in style but with no actual religious markings. It doesn't appear to be dedicated to any one specific deity, although leading off from the main room are doors that will lead you to places of worship for any major religion you care to name and a few more obscure ones. The first door at the end of the chapel will lead you into Scheherazade's clinic, where she's available for help if you require it. Beyond that is a massive and ever-shifting maze of other extradimensional rooms, some of which even she isn't totally familiar with. But hey, it's home. Appearance-wise, she looks like a young human woman with large, black feathery wings and very long hair. The hair is mobile, she uses it like tentacles. The sight of your primary physician flying after you, her hair waving three syringes and a scalpel at you, because you tried to skip out on your vaccinations... well, honestly she's pretty shy and unlikely to hurt anybody. But the just the sight of it is usually enough to keep people from trying to dodge their flu shots.
It's the magical spacefuture, I'm sure she also has some other kind of method for getting people vaccinated. Needles are just for people who don't respect the need for herd immunity.
she might see jesse the farmer at the chapel occasionally for religious reasons, as he's a laid-back sort of christian. not real big on the hymns and prayerbooks, but when someone's having a rough time it's nice to go hang out with some stained glass windows while you pray for them.
