I'm not human, firstly, but a Kencyr. As far as why reactions may be weird it's a cultural matter. I have the power of farsight, you see, which is one of the many skills what we call Shanir might have. So through dreams I can see many things. Very real things. Sometimes it's the future, sometimes it's the past. Other times it's what my sister is seeing. The godtouched are feared by many. Or outright hated, as was the case with our father

Because God is not speaking through me. At the very least I hope that our god isn't. I feel as though I would know if He were though. It's very...disconcerting to be around priests.
