Some of us! I kid, it's more that often sociological study helps understand why differing groups of humans fight. Anything that can prevent war is a good thing in my opinion.

I see! You must be like the omnics, whom have no lifespan due to being mechanical. Though I will note that I was rather pleased to find out that my Caduceus Staff does work on omnic targets to some degree.

Biology has nothing to do with comms or specops.
Outsidethe profile. Wastes resources to learn stuff outside the job description.

Well, I apologize then! I simply meant one regarding old age, as Omnics do not. They can of course be killed, which is rather tragic.

Biology has nothing to do with astrophysics or transportation, either, and yet I reinvented the field on Prion.
Yes. Age-related diseases can start showing up at around 6 million years of age, although it's not universal.

But what do people do without war?

Probably. We had the ideal that people should learn what they could, though, which had little to do with their alt-mode. Besides, I'm alone now. If you let me teach you, it wouldn't be a waste of resources for me. It would benefit me. And you'd get the best education I could give you. Maybe... maybe better than anything on Cybertron. You could have the power.

Grow roses. Have children. Fix more subtle social problems. Lots of good things.

Without replacing parts, our frames do in fact degrade with age-- roughly around the six- or seven-million-year mark, assuming one survives that long-- and certain internal processes slow. Even assuming one manages not to catch any illness once in this weakened state, it is entirely possible for one's frame to just... give out.

    ... I don't want power. That's responsibility. I don't want to have to do things I don't like.
    But I like learning... maybe?

Then... let's not do anything formal, yet. But if you have questions for me, I'll answer them. Does that work?

I see! That is rather interesting, I suppose it is things like wear and tear damage much like humans eventually get.

Oh that is a very sad question to be asked.

They live, of course. They live, and discover, and laugh, and enjoy themselves without the senseless loss of loved ones. Of course disease will always be there, but given enough resources we can cure anything and we can do anything! War only causes pain.

Oh goodness! Quite a lot like what happens to humans, only on a different time scale and with an easier way of gaining replacements. Some people just rather would not have synthetic parts, it turns out.

Anhelia Aescar Life after death is harder than it looks

The society I was raised in was a really inflexible one, alas. But it no longer exists; it was bled for nine years of war and fell to revolution. My caste, we mostly perished in the war, leaving very few for the revolution's bullets or rope.

I died but was brought back, rather changed. You'd probably find my biology rather fascinating, Doctor.
