    THE WHOLE CREW???? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
    KOTH WHY

Who is your 'Slinger dating? Theron? His non-reaction when Spider's Agent blew up Zakuul with Kaliyo continues to be hilarious to me. XD

Okay, @Aviari I want you to answer a thing for me, because none of my Republic characters have reached that point yet in the story:

does Theron get you out of the carbonite if you're a Republic character, or is it still Lana?

Also I love ALL of these descriptions but I especially love the Bounty Hunter & Trooper one, because I adore the Bounty Hunter story with a passion, it is hands-down my favorite, even more than the Sith stories (and I really like the Sith stories, I've played them three times each) and Trooper is also awesome. I want to see those characters bounce off each other like flint bounces off steel. XD

So my vote is "all of them, but Bounty Hunter story first, please." XD

It's still Lana, even if you drag Theron off into a nice private bush on Yavin :/

One vote for BH/TR :D There will be booze and probably some form of strip sabacc because how else do you get to know someone?

Oh HELL yes! :D Tell me more (like who has to do the Walk of Shame after losing all their clothes XD).

Does it strike anyone else as kind of...odd how pro-active the Imperial characters are, in the post-class story content? The alliance on Yavin is Marr's idea, the allied *fleet* was Marr's idea, Satele's sojourn on Odessen was, once again, *Marr's idea*...and Lana and the team she personally assembled are the ones to finally rescue you from Zakuul. It's strange that two characters from the evil faction (and taking the codex and Darth Lachris's actions into account, Marr's probably one of the most evil characters in the game) are the ones actually putting all this work in to save the day.

Man, I blanked out that it had early release today. I'll have to jump on it tomorrow, my Agent has the full KoTFE crew and operates on a combination of calculating Ascendancy mindset and being entirely, wince-fully done with all of these emotionally flailing humans and their incorporeal progenitor. So he's probably going to go dark on the big choice, unless there's a sufficiently compelling strategic reason not to.

It would have to be one HELL of a compelling strategic reason to overcome Issun's doneness. I mean, the last time he was this burned out and upset with human shenanigans, the Eradicators and Jadus happened.

I'm pretty sure my Sulloren (twi'lek bounty hunter, Torianmancer) is going to go dark. She does have this bad habit of letting people live if they make their case clearly and tragically enough, but this one...she owes too many people this death.

If nothing and nobody else, she's owes HK this death. And since I subscribed too late to get HK back...Arcann's gotta pay.

I've invented house rules for sabacc where anything counts for a bet. You can bet credits, clothes, trinkets, personal favors, personal favors, weapons, or just take a shot if you lose.

Not sure how BH/TR will work out yet beyond TR (who hasn't screwed Jorgen at this point) learning some interesting things about Cathar anatomy and morning after hungover snuggle pile with basically everyone half naked. Jorgen mellows out considerably with addition of hooch and actually relaxes enough to flirt with his XO. Torian will end up at the bottom of the snuggle pile under Mako and Romsca. Mako is Mortified.

HOWEVER: Headcanon that when Theron plays and hits a bad losing streak, he will lose all his loose credit chits, both guns and several pieces of excellent blackmail before eventually ending up in his jacket. Just the jacket, because you will pry that jacket from his cold dead fingers.

Lana is terrifyingly good at sabacc, even without Force-cheating, and will calmly and quietly drink everyone under the table. She has been persuaded to take off her gloves Once. She is forever pissed at Gault for out-cheating her.

Yeah, there is that. Throughout playing his storyline I accidentally ended up giving him this tendency to remain entirely professional and use as little violence as was necessary, up until points when the plot got so ridiculous that he just threw up his hands, then mashed them back down on the "Doomsday Device, Do Not Press" button.

So by this point I'm pretty sure he's set off every superweapon it's possible to use as an Agent, because they keep coming up at just the wrong moments.

Regarding Lana's shock over the decision to blow up Zakuul, I can't decide if it's funnier if she just doesn't *know* that Issun personally pushed the button on the Eradicators/ordered the activation of the Earthquake machine himself, or has somehow rationalized them away as non-indicative of his general mindset. Because Issun is not actually an altruistic or even a NICE person at all. He is just very, very self-interested, and prefers to take actions that minimize the likelihood of the decisions he makes today blowing up in his face tomorrow.

I like our headcanon that he has a lowkey flavor of darkness and suffering in his aura from all the deaths he's caused, which is too subtle to be consciously perceived by all but the most powerful Sith, and yet has the effect of catnip on them all. Or, alternately, it's like the UV stripes some flowers have on their petals to guide the bees. I'm here! I'm Dark and I'm pretty! Take me now you handsome killer!

    awwwww, poor Mako. XD

I love all of this, especially the stuff about Lana and Theron. XD They are my Favorite Nerds.

(I do hope Cathar anatomy lends itself towards *friendly* weirdness. XD; Yes to xeno junk, no to spikes if you please!)

It was especially funny because I took a bunch of light side options at the start of KoTFE, so then when Issun, professional infiltrator and assassin that he is, just straight-up killed a Knight, she was all "that wasn't like you."

Lana. I really don't know what you were expecting out of an ex-Cipher agent, when you did in fact work as the head of the ministry that replaced Imperial Intelligence. Even if she doesn't know about the earthquake machine, or the Eradicators, or the fact that Darth Jadus, manifestly one of the most bizarre and threatening sith in existence, considers Issun to be his Hand... You really should still know what Ciphers do. And yeah, even from the start of the agent plot, his actions were hugely self-interested. He really just wanted to have a stable career as a boring but reliable agent, but then Jadus happened.

From a Doyleist perspective, I know which choices probably factored into Lana being shocked: anything starting from Shadow of Revan onwards, especially KoTFE. Which does bring me to a problem I consistently have with the game's light/dark logic: There's no way to account for intent. The light side choices I make with Issun? Not actually light side. At best, they're an expression of irritation at the shortsightedness of the dark side choices presented. He's not stabilizing the sun generator on Zakuul out of the goodness of his heart, he's doing it because he made the calculation that sprinting ten city blocks to get out of the immediate blast radius while being chased by skytroopers was less likely to happen than shutting down the generator before it went critical. It was an ethically neutral decision at best, because the main motivating factor was "I personally do not wish to be blown up at this time".

Yeah, Issun is like a portable version of those places where the Dark congregates. Not to the level of driving sith completely nuts, just making them act a little high. Hence, the conga line of sith trying to steal him.

They are definitely my favorite NPCs. I shipped them spades hard when they were first introduced, especially with Lana's cavalier

"Let's let him get captured by pirates to gather information. He's a spy, he can handle it!"
    "No?"
"He's got pain-dampening implants and I can't even read his mind. He'll be fine."
    "No?!?!"

If that's not a black overture I'll eat my hat.

Now of course they are the galaxy's most politically problematic diamond with more black inclusions than you can shake a saber at.

Further light/dark snafus: Rejalgar, my warrior. He went through a pure dark edgelord phase before mellowing out to smart evil and enjoying the amusement he could take from messing with everyone's heads. And yet, even when he was being an insufferable dark side weenie, he still picked up some random light side points every so often, most notably on Balmorra. I don't necessarily fault the game for giving me the points in the first case: Without being able to ask the player about intent, the fact that he spared the Jedi at the spaceport and had her taken into custody was a more light side-y thing to do than "why thank you I think I will murder a(nother) person today". I mean, the intent of sparing her was still "You irritate me immensely and I personally consider indefinite detention in an Imperial prison to be a fate worse than death", but I understand the light side points.

What I don't understand is the fact that when Baras asked "So. Jedi's alive. What gives?" and the answer was "So you can torture her! :)", zero dark side points. Like, that should have far outweighed light side points gained.

This is also how Issun's ended up on the Light side of neutral. Mechanistically I can understand why they don't give you, like, ten thousand dark side points for siding with Jadus. But it makes it really weird that killing a single random person can net you somewhere between 1/5th to 2/5ths of the same evil as willingly activating a WMD. Hell, Issun's only at neutral probably because really hot planets like Tattooine make him grouchy beyond belief.

This was my 'Slinger Aviari's reasoning.
    "That's not like you."
"Did I forget to tell you about how I turned the Voidwolf's fleet on my homeworld and a bunch of others for profit? Because I did. It was pretty great."

This same phenomenon is why I started shipping Issun with Darth Jadus. Well, aside from the bizarre "ritualistically kneel before me because reasons" scene.

"You should go into the Dark Temple."
    "With a squad right"
    "No, just you."
    "wat."
    "Because reasons."
"But there's evil mind control ghosts"
    "yes"

If Sith experience attraction towards others, then they never leave that phase of "I like you but I don't know how to communicate or process that so I'm going to dump grass in your hair and then run away".

I like to think Lana's just kind of a poor judge of character when it comes to stuff that looks like Light Side, if you squint at it. The Sith have been so culturally screwed over by Valkorion that they just Don't Get It when self-interest is dressed up in the barest shred of altruism, even unintentionally.

I think the BH handled the Light/Dark thing best for the most part. Killing is generally dark, until you get to the Trandoshan, where not killing him would be like, religiously and culturally destroying him. I found it amusing that arguably the least moral class (Paid Killer) has the best handle on morality.

My Agent, Isilta ended up somehow Lightish Neutral the same way your Warrior did, Spider. She ran a hard line of "I do what is best For The Empire (whether the Sith like it or not) and I'll stab the fuck out of anyone in my way". So much murder. I let a Killik nest take over one of the noble houses of Alderaan because "Yeah sure, terrifying bug monsters would probably be useful allies." Still considered a good person?

Going to have to play more BH, I've got mine loitering on Dromund Kaas somewhere. No idea how she'll turn out, but my main motivating factor is that I really really want her to become mandalorian, so we'll see how things go.

Yeah, Issun made that same calculation, especially when compared to the noble house, which had proven manifestly untrustworthy and to an extent that could be damaging to Imperial interests. ...Letting a house get subsumed into a hive of terrifying bug monsters is definitely bad PR, but.

Alderaan as a sassy BH is hysterical, especially since you have to bring Mako and Mako is a Professional. But even she has her limit of stuck-up Nobles demanding you do petty errands before they'll help you.

My BH is 110% Mando and I love it. Shae Vizla acknowledges it on Rishi, which is great. A+ continuity (Also, trufax, Shae has the best fucking entrance in the entire fucking game because dayumn, girl.)
