Same with sassy Warrior and Vette. Vette is 100% Done with Alderaan from the moment you land, and especially the little creep of a Duke that you have to deal with there. Vette being Done in general is great. I frigging love Shae. She's reminding me a bit of Canderous in the "they're crazy badass but the galaxy has gotten really boring and so they go off to have a HARDCORE mid-life crisis for a while and then come back as FRIGGIN MAND'ALOR". Although Shae does definitely top Canderous in terms of first impressions because VOLCANO BASE HOLY SHIT.
Vette was born 100% Done and I think that's beautiful. Imperial companions seem like they have more fun in general. Risha is approaching similar levels of Done, but not quite there, as much as I love her "Okay, enough politics let's go steal something and maybe blow up a speeder." lifestyle. Consulars don't get any fun companions, and I would have much preferred to date Zenith but alas, his first love is REVOLUTION. Kira is honestly the only one I can think of that's in this whole mess for the fun of it on Pubside.
Speaking of fun: tallying it up, I really just like the fun dark siders, it seems, for a given value of Fun. The mandalorians are ridiculous space barbarian nomads, but it's endearing. I love Shae for being an awesome character and an awesome mand'alor (and for making FLAME TORNADOES), and I love Khomo for being an absolutely ridiculous neo-neocrusader. Darth Jadus is fun because he's somewhere perpendicular to making sense about anything. Darth Silthar on Tattooine was fun because he was just vaguely pleasant but also right at the end he laments that he wishes the imperial with the fear of cave-ins was there in the cave full of sand people with him (I was so pleased to point that bit out to Drake, the response was hilarious). Darth Gravus is fun because he seems constantly stoned on all the Dark Side going down on Taris. Thana is fun because she's so out of control and so unsubtle that it comes back around to kind of endearing rather than worrying. I loved Darth Vowrawn for approximately the same reason why I love Dr. Lokin: they're both exceedingly pleasant, but both (implicitly for Vowrawn and eventually explicitly for Lokin) have all sorts of amazingly treacherous things they get up to, and when you meet them are inwardly rolling their eyes at this jumped-up lil' bugger that probably isn't going to last the month.
I am seriously disappointed that Zenith isn't a romance option. Tharan is insufferable to me, and I really wish Holiday could get her own cutscenes to herself. I really just want to be able to pass the Bechdel Test with Holiday. She's really sweet. I haven't gotten that far on any Pub storylines, though I do want to continue with trooper. I like Jorgan, and I like just straight-out cheerfully Nope Nope Nope-ing my way through the bullshite that you have to contend with on republic side.
I actually really liked Lord/Darth Zash. Like, okay yeah she tried to possess me but her reasoning was fairly sound for a Sith and she was such a cheerfully malicious person who genuinely enjoyed the Dark Side without being weird about it. Dammit now I want to play my Imps more but the social side is dead compared to Pubside on my server. What's y'all's server and when are you on can I come play in your sandbox. Even if transferring characters is stupid expensive.
Zash is darling, despite being manifestly out to do you in from the start (I've only gotten as far as Balmorra, but I know the storyline). Baras was kind of the same way for me, until he started mishandling the betrayal. Admittedly, in the same way he'd mishandled cleaning up his assets in Chapter 1, but lines like "I hope you can see me smiling, apprentice" when he's wearing a full mask is great. Uhh. I'm blanking on the name right now. It's the West Coast PvE server, so I could theoretically play with Drake. Harbinger? I think it's Harbinger. I could still tell you the name of my server in City of Villains (Infinity!) despite the game being dead for four years, but I apparently haven't felt much server loyalty for this one.
Ha! I actually have toons on Harbinger from when I lived on the west coast, I may have to dust a few of them off :3 Maybe I won't lose all my sw33t gear unlocks. Ughhhhhhh I will lose my sick NS casino and all its amenities though. Gives me an excuse to buy a new fake space house though. Is the Drommud Kaas one nice? (I have gotten so spoiled with my space house. I basically never have to go to the fleet unless it's quest- or data crystal gear relevant.)
I like the Kaas one. I haven't done too much with it so I don't know what the unlocked rooms are like, but you get a lot of big windows looking out over the (grey, rainy) city vista. I admittedly mostly use it as a place to hoard crafting materials. I have been coveting those slot machines with the possible payouts for old cartel gear, but at present I've calculated that for right now it's no more cost effective to get one of those slot machines than it is to play the markets for that stuff.
Heh... I have. 7 toons on Harbinger, all under 55, most under 25 because I transferred all my mains. May as well remake some of those for DvL if y'all wanna hook me up with a guild or names
I have an empty character slot, we could start new toons together if you want! Which starter planet's your fave? XD (I caved and bought an empty slot for the even number two weeks ago...and then they went on sale half off...whyyyyyyy)
I'm open to whatever! I'm kinda itching to restart my Agent as a healer and roll that out, since I've done Stabby McStabberson.
Okay, then I'll make a bounty hunter! One of the heavy armor-wearing classes I think, so I can protect your squishy Imp ass. ;3 ETA: Oh, and I don't belong to a guild because I'm an anti-social fruit loop. XD; My legacy name is Starsinger, if that's at all useful (can you do character searches by legacy name? This is how anti-social I am, I have no idea). I tend to put about equal amounts of time into each toon so I can use the crafting system most effectively, so I don't really have a main. I guess Sulloren (bounty hunter) and Iresine (sith warrior) are the two that I'm least likely to retire any time soon, if you want something to put in your friends list. Should I just list all 19 of my characters here? Honest question. I'm going to go take a quick shower and then roll my bounty hunter before I get myself any more worked up about this. XD
I'm not seeing you on the search page? My character's name's Vashti'stateira, twi'lek, and I'm still near the cantina.
I really wish there was a way to archive SWTOR conversation, Drake and I had some good headcanons going.
