Hi everyone! As you can see, my name is Mads, but I also go by Maddie. I decided to join because Bash (paintcat) has lots of good things to say about this place, and some preliminary poking around only confirmed it. I'm looking forward to getting to know the community here. :D As a basic primer: I'm an aspiring writer in my 20's. They/them are my preferred pronouns, but it really is a preference. I'm fine with being referred to with she/her, or even he/him (though I haven't had much occasion to try those out yet). I live in Washington state, but my heart is in the Midwest. I'm a fan of video games, comics + their derived media, and sci-fi/fantasy. I've also been RPing for many years--mostly original characters, but I've got some fantrolls as well. hehe, thanks! I'm a pisces myself, so I couldn't pass up the chance for a juicy pun. Ahh. I do like Washington a lot, I just miss all my buddies in the Midwest tbh. A few of my favorites are Good Omens, Thud!, The Left Hand of Darkness, and Lilith's Brood. Also the Dresden Files, but that's a whole series. Ah I love Seattle! I'm living in Pullman right now but I hope I'll get a chance to visit Seattle again. It's so beautiful...
Hmm... as far as genre goes, I like RPGs, action-adventure games, and fighting games. Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles was one of my first games, and it's still got a place in my heart. I also really like the Devil May Cry series (including the reboot, which I have Opinions about), and League of Legends (which I refuse to be ashamed about because the lore is getting really interesting, damn it).
