Perhaps, and I mean no offence by this...your crew would be best served by a reminder that even though most of the organic lifeforms have much shorter lifespans, while we have not endured millions of years of war, many of us have also been at war for significant portions of our lives. I can't say that any of us has suffered anything for a million years, because in a million years, it is likely that my entire pride will be dust. But neither I nor my mates have known much in the way of peace. We all have reasons to be touchy and angry. I sometimes feel I can't speak of my own losses because I can't count as many as some of your people, but to me they are no less painful.

Fun would be good, though. Fun could actually serve the cause of diplomacy.

Can we all find ways to have fun together?

Silverburst shrinks herself, which she means as a sign of respect for me, I know--but if people want to have play-fights, or sparring, or do other loud and rambunctious things...some of us might participate if we were all of a similar size and strength for the duration. I probably would not, but some of my children might.

More seriously-- we would be honored to remain on good terms with Valiska's-- pride? Is that the proper collective term? We realize fighting is... not everyone's idea of pleasurable pastime, and would look forward to a less... hm, active interaction.

And speaking solely for myself, I would be quite happy to simply talk with everyone, even if no other "fun" is brought up. I enjoy learning, and teaching.

Could not another solution be to grow to match or surpass one's opponent's size and strength? Then again, that could continue ad infinitum if both combatants have the same idea...

...this is pleasing to know. If my crewmates (Bit, Cogwheels, or Rustbucket) have offended, though, please say so. Better to know and to consider what might be done or not done.

 

Anything thinkable that doesn't affect another person directly? Summon matter, project sensory phenomena, move in ways that should not be possible... can't think of anything else that's been tested yet, but could be a memory issue.
