I do like fashion. But specifically, I like the kind of fashion that I like, and I refused to change just because I'd moved somewhere where lime green and screaming hot pink were considered a good match of colors :/

And I am quite fond of my cape. It's dashing, it's stylish, and it (usually) stops bullets.

 

I know, but shouldn't I have noticed that it's different from what I know in the waking world? Probably not, though. It's all you, and that's the only thing that matters to either of us.

Oh no, willing entire worlds or planes into a different shape takes a much higher power level than is sustainable in the average mortal body. But belief is very much a currency of the gods, and thus essential to the practice of divine magic. Arcane magic is... different. Neither is precisely my area of study, but I at least have much more experience with divine magic than arcane.

You have to get the angle just right to deflect - too close to the edges, and the curl caused by motion can make things a bit unpredictable. And then, of course, there's the people carrying modified firepower, and god only knows what homemade ammunition.

Actually, sometimes you can. But usually, only if you don't know you're doing it--and only on a limited scale.
