Nothing, because the devs are lazy. I'm pretty sure there's even attribute-boosting tomes in the game already, so they really have no excuse.

Huh, I parsed it as a purple Hawke joke, but then again it's not a regular dialogue option so it makes sense that it's serious.

@unknownanonymous Nah, I don't think that's why, but I think it came about because they wanted to give people the option to make a wide range of choices and act out a wide range of characters - including the ones who would hate Isabela.

My second sentence wasn't so much related. :P
