honestly i just think having bastion transform & then shoot soundwaves instead of bullets would be Amazing. symmetra could do the thing where she summons the tire out of light like she does her teleporter, then junkrat could just. Slam That Shit Down.

Was thinking a Soldier/Widowmaker swap, just cause the lines match up. I dunno how giving an aimbot to a dude with a shottie would work.

Okay, OKAY, but what if Lucio does his drop the beat animation, and instead od shields, it's an instant D.va explosion.

question, would the player know about this in advance or would it just be a spontaneous, in game sudden lucio dunks on other team trying to give his team shields? because i feel the second would be more hilarious, & that is, after all, the Spirit of April Fools.

(mainly i just like to think of someone playing junkrat, going to save the game with a riptire & instead slamming down a teleporter & hearing "I MADE A TELEPORTER GUYS". i've been laughing at this since tinyhydra posted about it. help me)

every time you use your ult it's completely random which ult you get

 

If Tracer uses Reaper's ult does she play that one voice clip of her badly imitating his voice?

 

Reaper/Mercy is so pitch it creates a blackhole of loathing merely by existing. (I love it, don't get me wrong, but I think Reaper and 76 make somewhat healthier kismesises :P)

Also someone got me into Reaper/Lucio as flush and ??? they really made it work?? (I'm aware I'm a few pages behind on this thread but forum isn't giving me notifications for whatever reason ^^;;;)

ALSO @LadyNighteyes Tracer should absolutely do that. Also she should imitate everyone's ult and April Fool's was her idea of a 'bonding' exercise.

 

Makes me want to write Reaper/Mercy fic TBH, entirely because it would be unhealthy and fucked up.

 

what if each time the ult was mimicked the voice line reflected the character interactions. so lucio doing d.va's ult & the reverse would be nice & have a shout out to the other, & then reaper doing 76's or vice versa would just be 100% salt. tracer voice line included (thats my fav voice line of hers i wish it was an obtainable one)

That is a wonderful and hilarious idea! And from what little I know about the backend of games, it wouldn't be TOO hard to do, just a little tinkering with programming since the animations wouldn't be changed. Probably not much more difficult than buffing or needing characters.
That being said, it WOULD probably be too much work for just one day. Unless it ended up being a week of April Fools, which sounds awesome

 

they did do the summer games for far longer than the actual olympics were going on, so that is a possibility!

There should be a Pirate update. It's a fucking tragedy that Junkrat doesn't have a pirate skin already. Just make the weekly brawl like, Junkrat, McCree, Torb, and Roadhog.

...Symmetra with a pirate queen skin though. *A*
