He pulls her up and off her feet in a smooth motion and carries her the few steps back to his armchair where he settles with his wife on his lap, a shaky smile on his face.
"I look forward to the day. I hope I am not presuming too much in allowing myself to hold you as long as we have, y Mistress?"

 

"Good", Oneira remarks, then her face brightens up again. "Now, anyone want something to drink? Got a whole range from iced to steaming, sweet to herby, and alcoholic to caffeinated, and can work with anything from specific orders to general statements."

 

Magic, I guess? No one's ever been able to explain it, though if I said 'magic' to one of my exs he would probably choke.

I wonder if I could manipulate one of your ships? Though I guess I wouldn't want to, not if it would hurt you or anyone like you piloting it.

He brightens up considerably, though he does not stop clinging.

Oneira offers her a quite peculiar cup (somewhere between victorian coffee cup and 21h century coffee mug in size and shape, with a saucer, and adorned with hunting imagery) filled with black coffee. The scent and taste are rich, the flavour is balanced, with a slight caramel note.

Oneira raises an eyebrow. She's heard that type of voice melody often enough.
"Official tagline of my coffee shop", she deadpans.
