Snappers were "inspired by" boralions, faes and mirrors (i think) were in her how to book, she stole her own tengu from her candle art (which is now gone from shop i wONDER WHY) quietly shoves baldwin into the "shit got reused" pile
the original nagas (fuck whatever the site-idiom name for them is) and the original hippogriff were from her candles/soaps stuff too. all four plentifuls are in the last book she did, i have it right here. guardians are called frost dragons and fae are called fairy dragons and they both get full-page spreads.
I will say that whoever is doing familiars these days is good at critters. That's the one area where I'm still in lot with the site art.
I'm pretty sure I'm misunderstanding your objections here? Because I get the impression they're modifying the art piecemeal because they want to show us Baldwin slowly mutating into a new breed whose breed-change scroll will be an alchemy item, and since each image is only up for a day it's not worth redoing the entire image. I'm not sure why that shows it's been "made up on the spot" (as opposed to planned in advance) or is art theft.

If it's your IP, you may repurpose it as you see fit.) The tail does currently look "eh, fuck it" which is kind of weird, but the foot looks fine to me.
^ this, mostly. Like... it is a bit shoddy work, but I mean. There's a lot of art they've got to do. They've got a tiny staff to run this website that's growing a lot each day, I'm willing to give them some slack.
Yeah, pretty sure it's not art thievery to reuse or remix your own works in different contexts. (Just look at Toby Fox making three million different renditions of Megalovania.) It might be a trademark issue if any of it wound up trademarked for whatever reason, which could be why the candles that originally used the art were taken down, but it's not stealing or copyright infringement unless Undel created the original art under a contract to someone else or otherwise sold the rights. Tracing your own stuff can be anything from a little lazy to convenient for portraying a gradual change based on an existing image, but still not thieving. The tail's a pretty bad editing job, but still
At a guess, the "eh, fuck it"-ness of the tail is "I have other shit to do on a deadline and this is only going to be up for 24 hours, GOOD ENOUGH." It's a little embarrassing but the vast majority of the people who even noticed it in the first place won't remember it in a month or two. edit: oh, whoops, ninja'd by @raginghearts!
I used words wrong, sorry. I meant when like. You know how art thieves will erase or color over a watermark/edit the original image and it looks bad? That. This website is a company to these guys, so the "fuck it" reflects kind of bad. Like. Real bad. The fact they didnt keep or didn't redline their own work for this is an indication they thought of this idea last minute. Even drawing the updates on a new layer and hiding the old art that way would have been cleaner than using the erase tool and going "close enough"
