Because why not? October is nearly here and all the orange and black wonderfully tacky spoopy decorations are everywhere you look! Skulls and spider webs and monsters galore! There's candy corn and pumpkins and this year there's been a ton more calaveras. There's also pretty fall themed stuff! The leaves are changing, pumpkin spice flavors are back, and sweater weather is approaching. There's popcorn balls and caramel apples and apple cider! Then there's events! Haunted houses and hayrides, and one I'm very excited for. My mom's part time job is doing a zombie hunt. They decorated the paintball fields with a fake toxic waste spill and a fake crashed airplane, and bolted paintball guns to a hayride. They hired "zombies" in modified paintball armor to roam the fields and attack the cart. They're even gonna have a fake debriefing room as if the participants are actually responding to an outbreak. On the days they're not doing the hayride people can walk through the fields. Im not sure if there's still zombies on those days though. Anyone else excited for October?
I almost forgot about the amount of ghosties and ghoulies AUs october brings with it. Everyone turns their favorites into spoopy creations and i get to enjoy it year round because of the sheer volume of works! Thank you tumblr peeps (where ive found most of it in the past)and others for your obsession with the scary and grotesque.
I can't believe it's almost the first of halloween. my housemates and i are tentatively scheming on making a giant fucking grim reaper to replace the one that moved away from the neighborhood this year
I went to the big e and multiple places had cute witch hats and pumpkins and pumpkin people and black cats and AAHHHHHHHHHH I'M SO HAPPY
