With all due respect, Lord Starscream, not all facts need to be stated. It's not-- [he pauses, reconsiders, rephrases.] There are better ways to get people to do what you want than insulting them, I'm sure you of all people know that.

Yes, I am-- they've both been in and out, I think Eclipse was the most recent? Since... just after the war started, actually, a little before both sides told everyone to either join up or get out of the crossfire.

...the only person who can't change for the better is someone whose spark has gone out completely. I won't say that every case works out how I wish it would-- I was Aerial Corps before everything, and I've been in my fair share of unpleasant situations since-- but... when I can, I would rather help than cause pain. I don't think that's a bad thing.

I am not the whole world; I don't have to think like 'everyone'. Being nice to people hasn't gotten me killed yet, and the closest it came was while the Senate was still in power. I'm not saying it'll work for everyone, but...

...at least in public, you claim to want a better Cybertron, a place where we can unite and be peaceful, where we can forge a new, brighter future. I know it's foolish to trust completely in anyone with so much power, but... I believe in that vision. And if I returned to the old trigger-happy, suspicious mindset... how could I ever ask anyone else to work towards the kinder ideal?
