So looking at the seven, they seem to have a seven sins thing going on with them too, so yeeeh, Abrahamic mythology stuff I can identify and find weirdly fun!

 

Yeah, Abaddon said the seven sins thing is more a general theme than a ironhard motif with them, but it's definitely there. There's a lot of cool worldbuilding on the tumblr for ksbd.

is she more or less required to defeat Mottom for the purposes of the story? I'm wondeing if this will be a) successful escape b) actually bossfight or c) something completely different.

 

At this point, I'm thinking Mottom lost control of her spell when Alison broke her resolve. Given that the last page showed what looked like a star and that Mottom has wrought devastation that looks an awful lot like nuclear fallout before, I think there's a chance she'll be victim to her own spell of nuclear obliteration.

Though, even if it isn't a nuke, I still think she's about to fall victim to it.
