I wanna write about a lot of the characters. I want to write something decently long, I do NOT want to write porn. I like the idea of some kind of AU but dog groomer does not sound very appealing. Every once in a while i think of an idea but then i either decide its stupid or get depressed and give up. I haven't actually written a story in years now, which is rather depressing. I just rolled up some randomized bloodswaps, but it doesn't seem very interesting to me.
Dog groomer could be kind of hilarious, like "What if everyone was working at some sort of pet store"? Who'd be the groomer? Would anyone be a dog, or would they all be humans/humanoids with trolls being accepted members of Earth society, and it's more the interaction between them over THIS ASSHOLE POODLE IS COVERED IN MATS AND IT'S BITING ME HELP?
Think of some things that are interesting to you and roll it up into a homestuck AU. Like, what ideas do you want to explore with writing? For example, my AUs these days tend to be about classism/racism and societal roles because I find that kind of thing fascinating and fun to write. If you wanted to write something long with a bunch of characters, you could straight up write a post act 7 fic for Homestuck.
I'm voting all of them working together, hating their lives because "WHAT THE FUCK DID THE CHIHUAHUA ROLL IN AND WHY ARE WE OUT OF SHAMPOO"

Jane using Life powers to one by one rez the dead Alternian trolls, and the building of Can Town. One by one so they have plenty of time to sit on any wannabe continued murder spree-ers and convince them to knock it off.
I don't have any concepts I want to explore and don't really have any ideas, I just used to write so I "want to write" because I feel bad about not writing. I like AUs and point of divergence fics in general, but I'm not sure about anything specific.
