Man, yeesh. I mean... I think onegun was fairly out of line (and looking at their blog, they're using being a minor/csa survivor in a weaponized way, which I Do Not Like), and there was a lot of discussion, but I think most of the responders were pretty dang reasonable. Especially for how condescending and not-nuanced onegun was being. I don't think people should really be PMing them over this, but the thread itself wasn't very shame-y and being a minor doesn't mean nobody's allowed to say when they think you're wrong, and I don't think it really justified baiku's response, and @_@ What a mess. I'm glad this is a fandom with a high proportion of adults, and I'm glad the fandom itself is well-aged enough to mostly shrug off this ship police business. Apart from Ray and company, this is the first time I've seen any posts along these lines, and I'm glad Spoiler: mtmte 5...3? When the multi-way amica marriage happened, Rigel posted a regretful thing about how, welp, you're not allowed to ship nautica romantically with any of those characters anymore, and I was like no....... buddy...............don't limit yourself like this..............................
I don't think anyone was probably pm'ing them at all, maybe there were people trying to talk to them using messager but considering onegun 'lol' stuff they probably declared it all to be 'harassment'. I kinda don't understand what Baiku was on about. Or what the herz comment was about. I really just did not need to see this stuff on my dash. (edit: sorry if I'm not making much sense my brain is still fried from an older stalker trying to friend me on facebook and anything confrontational has had my brain going sideways)

Things I want: Prowl and Megatron to expose what happened to Megatron once they've got enough momentum going, because maybe not everyone is inherently sympathetic to miner's rights but the punishment Megatron got was so extreme and horrific that could actually work in their favor for swinging sympathies. I can imagine a lot of people who wouldn't think too deeply on 'well the miners are complaining' being absolutely sickened that someone would turn a Cybertronian into a 'drone', miner or not?
.....this hadn't even occurred to me, but I like it (also, there was another co-conspirator who worked with Megatron way back when he was originally writing and publishing, who would be a prime candidate for the same punishment, who's maybe out there mining still, or who's maybe rotting away in stasis somewhere in a run-down scrapyard, and just think of the possibilities)
Yesss. Because, like, if Prowl could get Megatron's old memories back I think he'd want to. And Chromedome is a mnemosurgeon, even in this au, because he's not Tumbler anymore. Is Rewind still with Dom, because what happened to Dominus in the main timeline didn't happen here? But man, like, a new revolution wit Prowl and Megatron and Chromedome and Momus and Rewind and Dominus and Terminus would be. Amazing.
