"You too, Milady? Though I imagine you will eventually dry down while I will remain quite wet. Alas. May I offer you another drink meanwhile?"

Simon is sitting in a similar room close to the Pines' clade corner, but not too close as to crowd them. As it may be he can however still reach over to Jame and offer her a glass of amber colored liquid.

"My what a peculiar creature you are. Or... Ah, you both are I suppose."
Creatures of water stick together, huh? He holds a hand out carefully offering the cuttles pets if they want them. They seem happy together. Good for them.

-she's leaning on the back of his chair, behind him-

 

He chuckles and continues his affections. What a cute.

"I happen to have two hands, beloved wife."
He can't quite hide his surprise as he leans back and looks up. Oh good she is actually there and he isn't hearing things.
A genuine, adoring smile spreads over his face.

 

Wash both of them regardless. I know you.

-she smiles back. It's small, restrained, but no less genuine for that-

 

"My Mistress has high requirements of me, as per usual, I see."
He leans back a little further.
"Does my beloved not want to claim her rightful place?"
His voice is light and teasing.

 

-she plants a light kiss on his forehead, then moves to install herself on his lap in a manner that suggests she has no intention of moving for the forseeable future-

 

Simon wraps his arms around his wife- lightly enough so as to not mess with her clothes, but still there.
"How is business for the most beautiful lady in the world? No one is causing you trouble, right?"

 

-she is toying gently with his hair, running her fingers through it to get out the drowned-man tangles-
The only people causing me trouble are Sophia and Samael's children. They are nothing but trouble. And such a poor influence on Nephele.
-the smile says otherwise-

 

He leans into the touches, smiling as well.
"Why, our little princess is much too good for those little devils. In the end she will pick up their awful tendency for inelegant, flashy plans. Luckily she has the best rolemodel right there."
He dares to steal a small kiss from her.

 

-she kisses back, just a shade past strictly respectable-
Luckily I believe she is already trying to curb that tendency in them. She is quite the little manipulator already.

 

"I am so proud of her."
His smile softens.
"I am the proudest man to have ever been in the commonwealth, to be allowed to know two such incredible women as you both."

 

-she leans into him more-
Of course. Your luck is astonishing, sir.
-she rests her head on his shoulder, and breathes something that could be 'i miss you'-

 

"Tricking Fortuna into allowing me this miraculous wealth was indeed my biggest feat."
He gently kisses the top of her head, burying his nose in her hair and breathing in deeply. Who knows when he gets to smell his beloved wife again, after all.

Switch, we met at aft o' clock in a bar while I was trying and failing to create a model of the solar system from two pocketwatches and a gyroscope and three enjex shots worth of frustration from the idiots at the academy.
