Reasons My Kintsugijin is Crying, or; The Weepy Marshmallow Brigade

allergies are turning my eyes into fountains i dont even know what it is im reacting to but im camping out next to the air filter

 

Tearing up because I just stuffed myself with the tastiest lunch in recent memory. It was so good.

 

Things I tear up over: women's wrestling. Just look at all these awesome ladies being supportive of each other and trying to change a sexist industry and actually making progress!

 

we went to a pet store to buy a scratching post and they had a pen w a dachshund and a pen with three teeny potato puppies and went to pet them because of who am as a person and they went absolutely bonkers over getting scritchies and looked so upset when i had to leave ;;;

watching a documentary about serious domestic abuse and the one woman's abuser got nine years in jail and they showed the phone call where she found out and she was crying she was so happy and relieved and then her daughter who was like 6 asked her "mommy why are you crying?" and i just lost my fucking shit

 

Listening to MBMBaM and when they say that they're you brothers, I got super teary. Also I was reading a book about library cats and I kept crying about them. Also Dalton the beautiful orange cat from the pet thread makes me teary every time.

 

Not one but TWO of those commercials that you dont know what they're about till the end.

The first one had kids guessing where puppies come from and it was super cute and then it was like "actually, puppy mills and cruelty and sadness"

the second one was two kids running juice stands across from each other and the boy wanted to ask the girl to the movies so he got crazy with advertising and stole her business on accident, then they just got more and more competitive until they were adults and so successful they didnt even recognize themselves or their product anymore. They left their factories and made a tiny taco stand and finally saw that movie together and it was so precious and picturesque and then it ended up being for chipotle and I got this weird emotional whiplash

had a long convo today with my Emotionally Repressed Father and it went rly well but he is very sad about a lot of things. at least now i can be more sympathetic. i learned more about him in an hour than i have in years

 

@JaeGrei I have had that exact experience multiple times (including the crying), and I can assure you that my relationship with my dad has improved and stayed improved each and every time. idk if your dad is the same brand of Emotionally Repressed as mine is, but yeah, that's my two cents. :)

Earlier I cried because guinea piggies and bunnies and ratties exist and they're so good. such precious smols.

 

This morning I was out of brown sugar so I couldn't make oatmeal.
