this honestly just makes me think of The L-Word and I'm not sure if that's concerning or not??? I mean, admittedly half the team would, in fact, be at home on that show, but still. oh my god I just realized I named my lesbian character Lyriae @Past Me alliteration is so passé bro what the hell are you doing

Stella, Sarnai, Lyriae, Liron, and Alabaster. There's a lot of consonance in the first names here.

shit, we're a team of poets. plus Alabaster

jk, Wax. also, "Alabaster" is a good bridge between the "l" names and the "s" names

oh shit, I forgot about the wis check

quick, everyone start praying to the random number god

edit: also, wrt names, I've been waiting through games w two different groups w this character for someone to notice that I gave my character the most twee surname I could think of, and both groups have disappointed me in this. for shame

(ok, the first game was only two sessions before our gm bailed on us w no warning, but still)

far be it from me to critique someone else's character's surname. mine's is Quicksilver, for fuck's sake, I didn't even have the decency to both with "Hydrargyros" or something remotely clever like that. also, if Lyriae finds out that's what Liron's name means, she's never gonna let her live it down. just fyi. :D

edit: on a scale of one to ten, how pissed off would you guys be if I changed Lyriae's name to Λύριαι Ýδράργυρος

I'm just saying that I like my silliness and bs to be acknowledged. also, if I'm gonna make an elf character, I'm going to hit every elf-y trope I can in character creation, just to see what comes out of it. my next elf character is going to be an archer who shoots dwarves on sight

Sorry! Alabaster can confirm it's "nothing left behind," but you don't get anything else out of this little game of Telephone.

classic Alabaster tbh your dice must be very committed to consistent characterization

Have you heard the Healing Word of RNJesus? Only takes a bonus action to say.

anyway I'm waking up post-work, but I'll come up with something that Sarnai's up to in a bit. I think she and Stella are on Team Do Science to the Canvas

While Liron and Lyriae are on Team Linguistic Troubleshooting.

And Alabaster is an assist to both teams.

    :D

I'm really curious what kind of Science you will Do.

@missoyashirou haven't heard from you in a couple weeks. Also, I'm pretty sure now that you're missing that feat or ability score improvement from 4th level. Also also, battleaxes aren't light weapons so you technically can't TWF with them. (I can only offer the excuse that I approved your character sheet from an airport layover.) You could solve both problems by adding the Dual Wielder feat (PHB pg. 165), which lets you use any one-handed melee weapons, and also gives you +1 AC when two-weapon fighting.

I am really curious too. o_o Looking through my sheet and character history notes for ideas. So far I've arrived at "sprinkle water on the canvas to see if the water goes through while the people don't." Because that's a thing an art fan would do to a painting????
