server status says API's down (and I was having the dreaded red miles message not sent error over and over) so I restarted it and now it won't boot :C

Puberty 2.0 has resulted in lots of little bumps on my arms, which I've resigned myself too.

Today it was cold in the house, but because repair guys were constantly going in and out it didn't make sense to turn on the heat. This somehow resulted in my arms looking like I'd been rolling around in mulberries.

Body, why.

 

Exfoliate arms? I used to get weird arm bumps too but now i have a scrubby glove and that got rid of them

This is an example of queerbaiting, because they didn't explicitly confirm/deny non-asari gay aliens in Andromeda. You know. The game they've been extremely cagey about (which I don't blame them for, given recent debacles with fans throwing fits over content that had to get cut before final releases of games) and the game that they've only confirmed the protags of recently, not even the companions. That game.

It's not like Bioware might have learned something from when their biggest and most open gay writer was run off tumblr for being gay in the wrong way or something. No way.

 

Gaider had been getting a fair amount of harassment before then, but I think it was right after a big "Iron Bull is abusive" push he posted that he intended to pull down his tumblr. Given that my dash had been wall to wall with shittier Dragon Age fans talking about how he's "barely even a gay man" and "doesn't know what it's LIKE" prior to that, I imagine that the atmosphere just stopped being conducive to what he wanted.

This was his last post. I know he'd received a few death threats during his tumblr career, and given the general toxicity of a lot of Bioware fandom, I wouldn't be surprised if it weren't much worse than that.

A note on linguistics:

Used as a noun: Wait for your cue. Used as a verb: I have it all cued up. Pronounced like the letter 'q', 'cue.'

que: a Spanish word, meaning 'what.' Used in a sentence: What? Sorry, I can't speak Spanish. Pronounced 'kay' to my limited knowledge.

quay: an English word meaning 'a landing place for boats.' Not often spoken anymore, so I've never heard it said out loud, so I assume the pronunciation is 'kway' since I know it came from French. Used in a sentence: The skiff was left at the quay. Included on this list because it's a good word.

Words on this list that mean the same thing/can be used interchangeably: none. None of these words mean the same thing as any of the others and they cannot be used interchangeably. A queue is a line. A cue is a signal. A 'que' should never take the place of either. Good day.

 

Apparently "quay" might just be pronounced "kay" in some dialects.
