There's a lot of folks in school here! Some of y'all might need help, say, explaining math, or proofing an essay. There's also lots of adults who went through those classes already. So... let's crowdsource the help requests. Post your confusion here, glorious kintsugijins. Also on topic: 'This teacher is ___, how do I deal with that?'.
Ooh, yes. Good idea! I volunteer my services for math and physics, and I could probably remember enough to help with things like general chemistry too.
o/ I know I am not the only one here (i think it's either @wixbloom or @Wiwaxia that grades papers as a job?), but I am very good at editing/proofing essays - both in the grammar/syntax/punctuation/spelling/formatting department, but also in the "this doesn't connect to your thesis" and "you need to explain this more" and so on department. I'm also usually quite good at parsing assignment instructions/incomprehensible professor jargon.
Yeah, here for reviewing essays and texts and helping out with that; earn a tidy sum each month doing that in meatspace, so I have some authority and experience :3
i have dome minor programming and debugging skills i can offer, along with research help (im taking a class on research this semester, yay for library science)
I can help with math, chemistry, physics, and probably English and history as well. I'm kind of out of practice on a lot of the fiddly stuff, but it'd be good to have an excuse to review things.
LANGUAGES YO. While my knowledge is definitely limited I can help with languages. Ones I have the most experience with other than English are Arabic and Pali. I also have experience with French, Russian, and Irish. My Spanish and Japanese are too decayed for me to be comfortable helping with that. And beyond just grammar or vocab shit I can help with "how the fuck do I even say that?"
oh yeah, languages! I am bilingual in French, and I am learning German. I also have singer-level diction knowledge of German and Italian.
@Aondeug may i shoot my arabic questions at you? they're not for school, but some of my characters are from the middle east and i speak neither arabic or persian... i can also help with german, native speaker.
If anybody needs help with high school/some college level Spanish I could potentially help out. I'm not focused enough to be fluent talking but I know enough to read/write fairly well and might be able to help out.
i am here for all of your neuroscience/neurobiology and psychology needs, as long as you're not asking me to do your homework for you! i also have experience as a literary magazine editor and would be happy to take a look at anyone's writing. oh yeah, and art critique! i'll do that too!
Personal professor here for all your "WTF school" needs. Experience with academic research in the sciences and humanities. Specialized in programming, technology, sociology, media psychology, communications, and identity. You don't want me to proof essays because I am terrible at it.
Can I just post chem questions here, cause I have some Problems. Right, so this is my chem homework Spoiler: pain in the ass homework this one I just can't get. Me and a friend tried several different ways and :screaming: it is totally the avocado's number thing, right??? (I know it isn't actually spelled avocado.)
(Jumping in where I wasn't asked for, yeah.) I don't think you used enough sigfigs in that last question.
