Yeah, Mallow is a big point for why the leaks are probably legit(although you can argue that they may be concept art, in which case the designs might be slightly different. Pls let litten not have yaoi paws) which is why im still hoping for a split. That way the leaks can be real, and we can hopefully have the possibility for a quad litten and idk, maybe a more masculine popplio? Like, i love entermaid(fan name for pop's final) but it does seem somewhat feminine for a pokemon species that is probably gonna be 87.5% male.

At least litten's final might not be fire/fighting- it's a wrestler, yes, but maybe a heel wrestler, meaning it's the villan and uses underhanded tactics(which is what dark typing is all about). Also, its farfetch'd, but the reference could even be a hint toward split evos, since the manga character Tiger Mask later became a face(good) wrestler and there's an antagonist persona named Black Tiger. Basically, i think that if there are split evos, one will be fire/fighting and the other fire/dark.

 

Oh hey, sorry for double post, but i restarted Y and i was wondering if people had team ideas? Right now ive got frogadier, combee, riolu, and fletchinder, but i dont think ill keep riolu and maybe not combee? It is a female though, so i could.

 

There are also leaks about split evos that did manage to get the names/types of unreleased (at that point) pokemon correct, iirc. So it's definitely possible for split evos to happen... and as far as I'm aware, Litten's final evo from the chinese leaks is confirmed

Ah okay! I checked a little to see if it was confirmed but i couldnt find actual translations of the concept art, just rundowns of things the leaks had said.

 

What leak was the typing confirmed in? I don't think it was on that big image of plausible leaks I keep seeing.

Anyway I really hope there's split evos with a final Litten that stays a quadruped because the little ground kneading thing Torracat does in the video is adorable. If not I might end up going for Rowlet and its middle evo's fabulous hair instead.

I wonder if the upcoming demo is going to get as datamined as the ORAS one.

 

I have to admit, I'm not sure. I've definitely seen the typing come out of one of the split evo leaks, and I've seen articles that show the chinese leaks for the final starters that claim that Litten's is that type... but whether that's directly out of the chinese leaks or someone is just linking two separate leaks together, I don't know.

 

I don't think Litten's type is from the chinese leaks. I didn't see anything pointing to type on them, so it must be a separate leak the types are being pulled from.

The same leak Litten's type came from also stated Poppio's final evo as Water/Fairy (and with the final evo's looks, I believe it)

No need to wonder this is the pokemon fandom we're talking about of course they're gonna datamine it LOL.

 

I guess the real question is whether they'll put anything worth mining for in this one.

Alolan Muk is really pretty and I kind of want to eat it. Good typing, too. Komo-o's scale armour looks cool as well. I wonder if it's Alola's pseudo-legendary.

According to the website, the toxins are stored within the crystals on their bodies, instead of them just oozing toxic liquid like their normal form does.

 

Is that why they smelled in the first place cause the toxins just oozed? You'd think their breath would at least still smell tho LOL

 

I think psuedo-legendary status would be more reserved for Type:Null. Cause I mean... he's like a genetic abomination made to imitate Arceus almost omg

 

Komo-o is the 3-stage dragon I assume (dragonite/salemence/hydregion/garchomp)
