Consider this: Valiska's a cat. Cats like things that smell bad to humans sometimes. Cats like underwear and socks that belong to their humans sometimes. I had a cat who liked my oldest stinkiest sneakers so much that I put one of them in her carrier to calm her down in there and it worked.

Valiska does not change the sheets when Ford goes travelling because she has trouble sleeping without his scent. Valiska loves the way her boys smell when they've been working out.

itch has pretty bad sensory issues so water is Literal Hell and a lot of clothes are also literal hell so shes been wearing the same outfit for about a year without taking it off (see also: it's hard to change clothes in a city populated by cronus ampora, someone is always watching)

also shes a lazy fuck who wouldnt bathe even if she could

 

i was actually the gabberwock's mun. i gave up on trying to rp the character for a bunch of reasons:
1. writing responses for the character was incredibly tedious and time consuming, and it was impossible to keep up with the rp. i often had to delete drafts i spent hours working on bc the rp moved on while i was in the process writing them
2. it was especially hard to keep up when half of the teal grub's rp involved fl's other characters
3. trying to keep up with the rp resulted in a reduction of post quality, to the point where i was disatisfied enough with the quality that i didn't even want to attach my name to the character
4. i've been busy with midterms and didn't have time for the character at all since last weekend, and there were annoying ic responses to my lack of response during this time that i have no desire to sort through
5. lack of direct interaction with the posts i put so much effort into (which is understandable, since the posts were by design extremely hard to understand)
6. trying to rp the character at all had become so stressful that i no longer have fun rping it.

for all intents and purposes, the gabberwock is essentially dead unless i possibly find inspiration to play it again a few months down the line

 

yeah i figured it was a hard character to rp i spent like half an hour trying to mimic the typing style for two words

i dont hold it against you or anything and i actually dont really care if the grub lives or dies bc i wasnt intending it to live for more than a three page gag anyways. ive got no attachment to it Whatsoever. so yr not like, Completely Ruining anything

 

yeah, i feel like people are acting distressed IC but OOC if anybody blamed you that would be very silly of them. i'm sorry that it stressed you out, though.

can anybody come up with a way to shuffle the wiggler offscreen to safety :P

 

Nobody holds it against you. We just have to figure out what to do with the wiggler. Valiska loves babies but she's not going to live in the rave lol.

 

tbh for all intents and purposes the daycare can be treated as literally a rabbit hole, sims style. The kid characters in the rave "live" there and can come out whenever needed but no one can interact with them in there. No one is distressed about deaths or whatever, the children are accounted for, safety and secure living space and stuff is provided and everyone can relax.
Or is there something I missed that would make that not a possible solution?

 

i wanted to put "southerners" bc i live in the northern hemisphere so south=warm and then i looked at a map and it looks like tevinter is NORTH of ferelden so i considered "northerners" BUT the map had a compass rose that wasn't labeled

so i gave up

 

Fwiw, I think Thedas is in the southern hemisphere so northern = warm, southern = cold is canon. I think Dorian makes a couple disparaging remarks about the south in game. :P

 

i thought itch was talking about ford there, as a way of getting back at him for speculating about her fellow cronus' sex life. and i was wrong.
