pangur is such a diva tbh. if he were human he'd be the prettiest boy ever

 

if he was a wolfdog he was probably very very low content, if he was in a regular shelter!! definitely not half. wolfdogs are a disaster and a half in confined spaces, and most shelters will put them down since they can't be adopted out to the general public. did they say how they knew he had wolf in him, besides general wolfy appearance?

(i'm sorry i hope i'm not coming off as hostile!! i just get. anxious. about people/breeders/shelters claiming they've got a wolfdog)

That's why I was surprised too, yeah. (And I know there are a lot of people who lie and say their zero-wolf-content dogs are wolfdogs because it sounds cool, and convince well-meaning people of it incorrectly.) Doggo in picture looks pretty wolfy, though- furry-inside ears, eyes are the right shape, doesn't look like it has the nose stop, doesn't have sharp, distinct markings.

I think they said the previous owner said he was? I dunno if theyd know all about wolfdog care, theyre a pretty small shelter and generally understaffed/possibly made of volunteers ( dont qoute me on the second part tho, id have to double check if they are volunteers)

Edit: and nah, you dont come off as hostile, just a concerned good person who wants a pupper to have the best care possible

okay full disclosure i gasped softly and put my hand to my chest when he looked into the camera...... HE IS TRU BEAUTY..... would that i could reach through the screen and gently play with his footers...... oh god i just watched it again and i had to pause when he looked into the camera so as to compose myself... this sounds like humourous exaggeration, however, i am unfortunately being 100% sincere
