I think Sun and Moon not having any new megas is Game Freaks way of telling us they may be doing away with (at least new) megas? Now that I think about it I can't remember any new Megas in the TCG either, just BREAK's.

Which is a shame, cause I REALLY WANT A MEGA TYPHLOSION

 

I don't think a lack of new megas is confirmed yet. Give it time.

 

I don't care about any other Megas, but they're not allowed to do away with Megas until I get Mega Butterfree. (My fight-happy Caterpie in my Pokemon RP needs a Mega form to go with her Kakuna boyfriend's future Mega, dangit!)

 

No, not confirmed yet, but it seems highly likely considering we're a little over a month out and... well. =/ I don't see new megas as a logical step given the introduction of z-crystals and moves, if that makes sense?

Either way I do hope we get new megas, but it seems unlikely at this point.
