This thread is so perfect and it honestly just makes me so happy (partly because of all the perfect and beautiful creatures and also because @applechime's enthusiasm is so incredibly contagious :'D)

Also as I have never introduced my pets before...

This is Buffy! She is a 9yo rescue and she likes to pretend she's a classy lady





(but actually she's a huge dork)



When we first brought her home she didn't know how to play or walk on a lead, but she has come a very long way!

And this is Pretzel!



He is a western hognose and he is my precious noodle son. His favourite things are exploring sleeves and burrowing into pockets!

and now new friends!!!! ohh my gosh i want to give buffy every single kiss, i want to touch her ears, i want to give her butt scritches, i love her. AND YOUR LONGDOG!!! holy shit holy shit his face!! is the best face!! LIL SNOOT, LIL MOUTH, BIG BRIGHT EYES!!! curled up small.... i'm so happy...

Aaah thank you! Don't be fooled by his cuteness, though. He's actually a very scary cobra!! (or so he likes to believe.......)

If you gave Buffy butt scritches she would be your friend for the rest of forever!! It is literally her favourite thing ever. I will give her many butt scritches on your behalf :P

Garrus has abandoned me in favor of bird watching by the window and occasionally making longing wishful noises so I got another study buddy!

So I wrapped him up in a throw blanket.

Earlier he was burrowed under the blankets, snuggled against my boyfriend for heat.

 

ayy so this is my dog nym (nymeria) and shes basically the devil incarnate but i love her to pieces. she's a greyhound - bordercollie mix, aka a lurcher and shes hyper af.

this is Theo, the pupper my housemate is dogsitting for the weekend
(but theo's a super clingy baby and I have less weekend/afterwork plans, and therefore I have nobly volunteered to take him on walks and pet him a whole bunch)

i am greatly amused by Dante's face markings, it looks like they have a blep at all times :D

 

Pupdate: pupper is no longer potato-shaped and is now larger than Missy, but still hasn't entirely figured out how gravity works or where his feet go. He is very adorable and got all tired from the difficult job this afternoon of supervising while I pulled out weeds in my mom's front yard. The parts where he sat down directly on top of the area I was trying to weed were particularly taxing. I asked my sibling to lurk around and be a puptographer whenever he did something cute.

He really likes the ornamental grass next to the front sidewalk.


Sibling liked this one a lot even though it makes him look much more dignified than he is:

(His ears are permanently at half-mast right now. Also he will just. Eat those zinnias.)

At several points he laid down in the patches of said grass next to me and started chomping on chopped-off beebalm stems and I had to pet the tum, which conveniently also provides a scale for how he is Giant Puppy.
