i come back to drama and there's no thread for my canon. this personal insult. scp-2747 is a personal favorite right now, warning for heavy fridge horror-type unreality. also behold my robes actual canon tm.
My favorites are usually the ones that go for weird/funny over creepy. I have a particular soft spot for the alien being from an alternate universe who communicates by writing on the mirror and talks about humans like a guy who's mad about black people moving into the neighborhood.
One of my favorite Js. I also have a soft spot for the ones that aren't -J, but are just as funny. Like the critical tomatoes.
My fave is the moth wearing a little helmet and it just headbutts people to comunicate they should buy little moth helmets. Also most of the keters ive read, especially that dude who loses it and hunts you down and kills you no matter what if you look at him or a picture of him, even if its just a pixel of him in the background The little misters by dr wondertainment are fun too. My favorite -j is that guy who keeps accidentaly wandering into scp containment bases and running into the same commander Oh and the shia labouf guy who sees every animal or part of an animal, alive or dead, as shia lebouf I like a lot of scps
Oh man, SCP stuff. 055 is probably my all-time favorite although 093 (i think? the dead sea object what you put on mirrors and send d class through) has a special place in my heart from reading it laaaate at night in middle school. never gonna reread it though, it wouldn't be the same.
I think my favorite is 140, just because it so clearly has an entire mythos behind it, but the writer never succumbed to the temptation to spell it out and ruin it.
oh oh scps!!! the forum culture there is so not my thing, but i really love some of the scps. i like the uhhhh, population rebuilding thing? was that 2000?
yeah! with the citations to internal foundation journals and anti-reality warping shit that we'll have repaired by the end of the decade, we promise
The green slime which can't go near dead bodies makes me giggle just because of the endless repetition of that fact in the file.
YEAH that's the one! i love that one, and ones that hint at the foundation not being as all-powerful or wise as it pretends
the varying birds who are compelled to carve passages into wood (i think?) until they die are pretty neat
Fun fact: that one's written by BlastYoBoots. Yes, that BYB, the one who's a Homestuck theorist. See here for his further remarks on the subject.
I think the funniest part of that one is that it never says "corpses" or anything else that sounds more technical. Just "dead bodies" repeated over and over until it stops sounding like words. Also the test log.
i feel like im missing something! why is a phenominon that just creates references to unreal stories rated keter? what harm does it do...?
Spoiler Because they've realized it's actually evidence of something that can destroy stories if it appears in them, and that sometimes things can get out of fictional stories into their reality. Which is, in fact, because the SCP Foundation wiki is a work of fiction.
Spoiler Like, it's not actually something that creates references to stories that don't exist, it's that those stories annihilate themselves, leaving behind only analysis of and responses to them to tell they were ever there.
