And the "I'm a nice guy, I swear" thing I read more as "I know I have a crusty exterior that puts people off but I swear I'm not an asshole" but that might just be me projecting. Ha ha!

    ...ha.

I have a running grudge when it comes to Sam that I refuse to alter for the same reason. No matter what you do, there he is, mentioned in her eighth fucking heart event, apparently lifting her into trees and flirting and just being... AROUND MY PENNY NO SIR NO HOW. The Word of God is that she let him get flirty because she was too polite to say no, and that just makes that shit worse for me.

No more of that. Come move into the farm with me dear and we'll both never talk to him again.

It does kind of irk me that things that should be changed by your marriage aren't. Like Clint's obsession with Emily. Or how family members of your spouse acts around you. Lilly was married to Sebastian for years and Robin was STILL asking if they knew each other : / But knowing that those are the quirks of a game made by one person, who practically started this as practice, makes me less angry at the game in general and more angry at... Sam.

    That motherfucker.

(And then Vincent will tell me he wants to marry Penny when he's grown up when I am ALREADY MARRIED TO HER what the BULGESUCKING HELL, BOTH OF YOU, alright you're a child and may have no idea what you just said, ok, ok, ok,)

See that really makes me want to look into adding more dialogue again. Little things like that which reflect the changes. Maybe Vincent 'warning' that you better treat Ms. Penny right now that you're her spouse. I don't know how complex I could make interactions, but I know there's a marnie/lewis event that triggers only when both of them are at 6 hearts - maybe something like that with Robin and Sebastian? Also with Kent and Sam and Vincent...

I had a mysterious and unexpected blood sugar crash earlier so that kind of fucked up my productivity so I've only just now finished figuring out stuff placement. :') (In between preparing food and shoveling it into my face, that is.)

Not sure if too much hay, or if I should keep it to one bale and stick a couple more crates there.

Also not sure if I'm going to do much at all for the other sizes of coops. Chicken coops aren't actually all that big in real life! Even ones that hold a couple dozen chickens! Having one bigger than the house is stupid. I might just change up the clutter, and make the biggest size a bit taller.

Alright, I need y'all to be honest with me.

Does this look like peeling paint? Or is it cow spots. Or stone, cause my husband thinks it looks like cracked stone.

Going for the weathered peeling paint look FYI

Maybe some highlights toward the center of the peely bits where the paint would still be thickest?
*ETA* oh maybe if possible a couple of stray paint colour pixels on the sides of a few posts to show that those spots are raised up from the surface
Brain is kinda foggy so I might not have expressed that well

missoyashirou Someone please give me a tiny dog to play with

It looks like dagwood tree trunks, to me? I agree with Kathy's assessment, and maybe brightening a bit of white patches will also help.

IDK, maybe peeled paint is a little too much for a five pixel width canvas...

I think it could be obvious-er if the wood colour was an orangy wood, a more medium brownies etc, but idk
It does look closer to peeling paint though!

I'll give it a shot. The thing is I'm going for a more subdued, grungier color palette for spooky stardew project, so I don't wanna go too warm or bright.

    IDK, IDK.
