I am sorry for being literally unable to not comment on "isn't science objective?" and its variations with one of my characters it is an academic reflex

 

Mindala got the best education privilege and money could buy, since she was in permanent attendance on the Crown Princess for whom the lessons were for. So she's happy to talk about anything even slightly academic, because there ain't much call for it in being a courtesan and brothel owner.

 

Meanwhile, Silver's "education" consists of several apprenticeships, teaching themself from dissections, and sometimes-friendly debates with other medics they've come across. By certain standards, they probably shouldn't be debating about academic rigor :P

If I had any confidence whatsoever in my ability to write the character, I would make a sub for Pattern from The Stormlight Archive to go on about "Mmm, delicious lies..."

 

It's literally like half of what I do in uni so I guess I am acclimated to screaching about the history of knowledge production :P

 

and subjectivity does not mean that nothing's true, it's just that the viewpoint must always be taken into consideration and nothing can be assumed to be universal, really.

Just today it was determined that Nichy in DA!verse would be a city elf bloodmage with elemental destruction specialization but, you know seeing as she would totally be the type to go #NotAllSpirits I jokingly said she is like the most terrible mixture of Merril and Anders and I stand by that statement.

 

You would think so. It's called estus soup, and it pretty mch restores health in the game, but it is a pleasant though that it was made this way.
