Hilariously, in at least one TF universe there is a canon weapon that functions by sucking the energon-- that is, the life force, blood, fuel, what have you-- from Cybertronians in the area and using that energy to power itself. Being from the wrong planet to have heard of this, Silver unfortunately can't make the direct reference but I am entertained nevertheless :P

For the record, Sala cancels/blanks out pretty much anything that would be classified as supernatural and some things that aren't, and interferes with some mundane technology too (e.g. she throws out a fair bit of radio static and can mess up the picture on electronic screens if she stands too close). She's been very carefully giving everyone a nice big personal bubble because she doesn't want to accidentally hurt anyone with it.

I'm not exactly sure how Anhelia's collector works. It appears to be science in her world but science in her world has a lot of what we'd call magic involved. Fortunately it doesn't matter, since in this formless place there's enough energy just floating around to grab.

yeah, it was. i got confused 'cause itch is one cronus out of many and most of the cronii (including the original) are boys, so i went and defaulted to "he" without thinking.
