Maybe the organics have less resource problems?

...the only resources problems we have that are absolutely vital to human life...involve resources that are entirely renewable...we just don't make enough of them

the other resource problems we have...can either be worked around...if they are non-renewable...or fixed entirely...if they are

yeah i dont know whats in energon but fleshy peeps have all sorts of carbon compounds they can work with

some things they gotta have but there are usually a lot of ways to get those

course they keel right over real quick if you take away their oxygen

More apt to say this: Shouldn't have lack of resources, but humans generally do. There are lots of reasons, some I'm far from able to talk on, but a lot of them have to do with money.

From my reading I've found that while Velocitron's solution is a good one based on solar power, it may not work for all bots. Myself included, though my home colony is covered in energon! It's a bit mixed with the lava on the surface, but plentiful! Surprisingly I have found plants on my home colony with energon stored within them, I'm unsure if this happens on other colonies or planets / planetoids but we often used it to make a form of engex. One can eat one of these plants to gain energy, though I may be a bit different than most bots. The fire and all.

God. If it becomes necessary to create new energon deposits, I can. I mean I'd much rather you guys figured out something yourselves- I mean, like you said, the Velocitronians worked it out! But I'm not gonna just sit back and watch everyone die. Last time I did that people got very upset.

???? Making things is skill. Moving things quickly is skill. What is Marcus's definition of "skilled labor"???

??? One caretaker stays to care for bitlets, other(s) continue work. Why is this uncommon???

Credits? Somehow I don't think Marcus means the currency...

If mentor is part of plan, will cover. If mentor is not part of plan, would be offensive to claim connection where there is none, regardless of whether or not the implicated has ever taught. Yes?

...can't speak for other cultures. Liquid or crystals harvested from rare preexisting deposits, or liquid can be siphoned from other mechs. From organics too, if one has the right equipment and wants to risk hunting megafauna...

    ...point.

Your continued existance: not of relevance to resource problem.
Claimed skillset is. However not verified.

...Well, me existing means that if I need to I can use my skills anyway without your input? It's not like I actually WANT anyone to sit around going 'oh primus will fix it'! That's stupid. So really... if you don't believe me and so say my abilities are irrelevant, and therefore work towards your own solutions to the fuel crisis and stuff, that's good! Carry on with that! Keep going! Skilled labor is usually stuff that you have to properly learn learn, I guess. Like uh, someone who can properly put together a car has to have a lot more skill then someone who just hits the button on the stamp machine for one part. It's not easy, but it's also not something that, uh, takes... education I guess?

Running really fast is a skill too, but outside of certain circumstances, no one's gonna pay you for it.
You can't make enough money with just one person working, so everyone starves like that. Or, uh, that was the case for my family.
Nah credits are just what they call the uh, earned... points, I guess, for taking classes. Standard classes are three credits, and some places you have to have upwards of 120 to graduate, so you take classes for what you actually want to know, and you also take classes just to get the points to graduate.

I guess it's like... if I said "yeah, Congessi is my best friend," that'd be pretty bad, right? But if I said "Congessi is my best friend and says that linguistics suck and nothing about language matters," that'd be sort of worse, because I'd be claiming you said stuff you didn't by proxy and claiming connection. If a teacher has real students who say stuff wrong, they can at least contact them and correct them or disavow them or something, but if it's just some liar, they haven't got the time.
Yeah that's pretty different. We have to actually grow our own food and stuff, and these days we farm it instead of really hunting, but that's a thing that has to happen. Farming and hunting are pretty hard, but the guys picking the fruit off the trees aren't treated well, and a lot of people call them leeches on society. Which is dumb, but, y'know. Humans, right?
