He says "epilogue to Homestuck" and "other projects" as two separate things, and then says "post canon content" is one of those "other projects", thus it is not the epilogue.

No. Post canon content was to be posted "later this month" and it is later this month now. We have not reached the true end yet!
Okay, but. If it happens after the end of the story, HOW is it not the epilogue? I don't get it. That's like saying when you're done eating a sandwich, you aren't finished eating it, as if done and finished are different things.
It's the credits sequence, and then the epilogue happens after the credits, as per game or movie naming conventions more so than book ones.

This doesn't really feel like an epilogue though. Its a placeholder, something to tie us in and keep us interested while he works on the real project. I hope.
