oh i would have cosplayed! but i didn't have any ideas or motivation and i didn't want to spend a bunch of money, bc i only work during the summer, otherwise school would kill me. So given this update 10/25 isn't just a day honoring the Dreaming Dead anymore but also honoring the Waking World of the New Universe. At least for one subsection of the Homestuck pagan community.
Time can be worked around, money cannot. If you really could scramble for it you could get a black shirt, fabric paint, and buy makeup at a halloween store and/or michaels craft store and throw it together. Horns are trickier, they take some time. Either way it would be nice to meet you at the con!
My favorite holidays though are the various troll festivals. But then I'm a hero worshiping obsessed bitch so that goes without saying.
nahhhh...............no use throwing something together from scratch, i have very little experience and it would not turn out well. that being said, maybe in a year i can cosplay as a character from hiveswap! :)

Spoiler I'm so glad that my theory about Calliope/Caliborn being their own parents is basically confirmed by this. Adult!Calliope made the black hole. Cherubs mate at black holes. Lord English is already there. He loses. The male inherits the alignment of the loser. The female inherits the alignment of the victor. We know that the egg was placed on a fucked up version of the earth they're on now. CONFIRMED, in my eyes.
