I like the idea that if a thread memes hard enough it gets stickied, though.

 

Today I was treated to my boss's befuddled look when her 6-year-old asked if it was possible for a kid to live in an apartment and yet attend school, as her classmate claimed he did.

 

maybe the kid thought the classmate lived alone in the apartment/it was only theirs?

 

That's what I thought, but she explained (slightly suspiciously) that classmate was dropped off at school by his mom. tbh I really don't know why she thought it was weird.

I told her that schools divide up the city so that everyone has one to go to, and she decided that that makes sense.

I had to like and then unlike that post about three times to properly express my conflicted feelings about that song. In fact, my feelings were so conflicted my WiFi cut out for a few minutes after I played it.

I mean, to be honest, that's at least good news. Kind of cryptic and apocalyptic in a sense of "I had a 'game over man, Trump's going to be president and there's going to be Terminators coming to punch Joe Maddon in the dick' flipout like three hours ago" weird, but it's not bad.
