Questionnnnn, if I were to, hypothetically, take a stab at Whirl/First Aid medic AU things for NaNo, can anyone see a clean plot arc with a satisfying climax? Because I'm kind of not seeing it :T I think this is more suited to be a vignette-y thing switching between altered canon plot points and independent character development. There isn't much plot BETWEEN them besides the slow burn romance, but there's enough plot happening AROUND them that I don't think romance alone will be a strong enough main thread for the story. So I'm thinking this is probably going to come to nothing for NaNo, but I figured I'd poke my head in here just to see if anyone had any other ideas.
