I lie, I found ONE box labelled Titans Return and that was Sentinel, who I refuse to spend $50 on. (Toy Sentinel is also apparently orange.) The closest target is Even Farther but I will have to look the next time I'm there! Eta: there was a pile of mystery boxes for "TF Generations" by the registers and I gave in because they were 5 bucks and what is impulse control. The catch collect 'em all panel looks like a mix of G1 and early IDW designs and I recognize the names at least. gonna open him when I get home :D

THE UNBOXENING Spoiler: many photo One of the sides and the top panel fold out into this cute chibi poster, I kinda wanna keep it All the dudes you can get! Con trine, Mags, Megs, Prowl, OP, and "Nemesis Prime" (shut up Nova we all know it's you painted black). Bot badges are red (except for OP), Cons are silver, and the Primes get... black? A darker silver than the Cons? Interestingly, Nova/Nemesis has a Con badge. A sneaky inscription on one of the top flaps! It reads "more than meets the eye" in Autobot script. I got pissed off at the plastic internal packaging so no picture there, but I did end up stabbing it eventually because I couldn't just pull the bag open. Which is kind of hilariously appropriate, because I pulled out... MEGSY! Featuring lips to make Overlord proud, like whoa. And yes, that's a giant statue head on a tiny tank body. The transformation mechanism is a really simple rotation though, which is nice-- the tank doesn't need alteration, it just flips up into his head. Need to fold his legs up to get him back out of root mode, but there's not a lot of complicated movements, which is gr8. And speaking of root... Eta: forgot the transformation pic! Everything swivels around that axle there! The unused mode hides in Megs' giant head. These guys are fucking hilarious in root mode. I think the giant statue head looked less out of place on the tank body, which is good because he's too top-heavy to even stand up in root :P They're meant to be displayed in alt. Tldr I have 0 regrets about this impulse buy, tiny Megs will keep me company as I write robot NaNo :P

Before replacing his body every time he wrecked it in a suicidal charge got to be too much of a hassle for the medics; after a while, he just went with the cheap, skinny frame with max weapons-to-internal-organs ratio
